The Umpqua, the Deschutes and Grande Ronde in one trip.  What great opportunity.  I cleared my schedule and headed north.  The weather was gentle and high clouds or haze.  The 3 rivers were in great shape and fishable.   But the only fish I hooked and landed were on the Grande Ronde (a tributary of the Snake River near Lewiston and Clarkston).

The time on the Ronde was magical.  It is remote and the boating can be challenging in spots.  I had my best fishing buddies there too and we ate and drank like river kings!
