If you road fish for steelhead on the Deschutes, Rogue or Klamath or other steelhead rivers with good road access, then you know the hassle of tucking rods inside your vehicle to move from spot to spot. I have used the magnetic rod holders for years and while they are convenient, they are now outdated.  These are perfect for fly rods and spey rods.  Very secure and portable.
